Job Position: Social Media Manager

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Probationary Period: 3 Months

 Deadline: 15 May

Your Role:
As our Social Manager, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission by managing our social media
platforms, organizing events, and fostering partnerships with other organizations. You will have the
opportunity to engage with our community members, and amplify their voices for LGBTQ rights and equality.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement social media strategies to promote awareness and engagement
• Create compelling content, including posts, articles, and videos, that reflect the diversity and inclusivity
of our community
• Manage organizational correspondence received via various social media platforms and organizational
email
• Plan and execute events, workshops, and campaigns to raise awareness and drive participation via
close work with the organization’s project managers
• Cultivate relationships with local partners, sponsors, and supporters to expand our reach and impact
• Monitor social media trends and analyze performance metrics to optimize our online presence

Requirements:
• Strong passion for LGBTQ rights and social justice
• Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a nonprofit or advocacy setting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Georgian and English languages
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with LGBTQ issues, terminology, and community dynamics
