Equality Movement joins the campaign “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”

Equality Movement joins the campaign “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” in order to raise awareness of gender-based violence and women’s rights in Georgia.
Achieving the gender equality still remains a challenge in Georgia. The numbers of the cases of gender-based discrimination and violence are alarming.
We believe that equality can be achieved by working together with the state and society. We embrace and support women to ensure proper integration in the society, despite their sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion or any other grounds.
In the framework of the campaign, Equality Movement will present a research on queer-bullying in schools.
